Hi!

I’m Olakitan, a writer by day and a writer by night.

By writer I mean I write content for digital media, stories, poems and drama. For some weird reason, I sometimes think of stories in terms of stage settings, light, blockings and lines. Blame it on the four years I spent in a drama group in school. I don’t know if any of that makes sense to you but if you have any questions, you can always ask in the comments.

I started this blog to share stories, opinion pieces, and pictures. Basically sharing myself with the world. Think of it as an extension of my social media. To be honest, the prospect of sharing myself with strangers on the internet is a little scary but I once heard that all the good things in life are on the other side of fear so I’m doing this!

I have structured this blog according to my interests and topics I think can be interesting to you although there’s one thing I’ve left off the pages though and that’s books. I love reading especially African literature but I’m leaving that off the pages for now, I will start with the pages above and see where it goes from there.

Finally, my brethren and sistren, not everything on this blog will be serious, please dears, don’t take everything seriously especially the stuff under Sunday specials. Sometimes, I play too much.

I hope you enjoy reading the stories here.
